Each IGL Colored Gemstone Certificate clearly states whether the stone is natural or synthetic, and if it has undergone any treatment process. The IGL certificate identifies the variety of the gemstone, its shape, carat weight, color quality, measurements, transparency factor and major optical characteristics.
Upon request, the origin and provenance of the gemstone may be determined.
